NOTICE FOR NOMINATIONS FOR USAPM BOARD OF DIRECTORS – INDEPENDENT DIRECTORS

USAPM Board of Directors – Call for Nominations

USA Pentathlon Multisport (USAPM) is conducting elections to fill Independent Director positions on the Board of Directors.

Election Timeline:

    • Nomination Submission Deadline – January 3, 2025
    • Ballots Distributed – January 20, 2025
    • Election Close – January 27, 2025
    • Election Certification & Announcement – Between January 31 and February 15, 2025

If you are interested in contributing to USAPM’s leadership and growth, we invite you to apply. Please submit the following to the Nominating Committee at elections@usapentathlon.org by January 3, 2025:

  • Resume
  • Letter of Intent

Nomination Process:

The Nominating Committee will review all submissions and present a slate of nominees based on qualifications outlined in USAPM Bylaws (Article 7.4). The slate will be published by January 15, 2025.

Term of Office: Through 2028

Voting Details:

  • Voting Method: Email ballot
  • Eligibility:
    • Eligible voters will receive ballots directly from USAPM on January 20, 2025.
    • Ballots must be submitted by 11:59 PM MST, January 27, 2025.
    • Members may vote in only one Board of Directors election.
    • Athletes participating in Athlete Representative Elections (for Team USA AC or USAPM BOD Athlete Rep) will not receive a ballot for the Independent Director elections.
    • Eligible voters must have a valid membership before January 1st, be over the age of 18, and/or have competed in a USAPM hosted event in 2024.  To sign up for a membership please go to: https://www.usapentathlon.org/membership
