Valentines Open

Schrimsher and Andrews win Valentine Open Qualifier. Lucas Schrimsher, 15, New Mexico, narrowed out brother Nathan to win the Gold in the Valentine Open held in Palm Springs California. Emily Andrews, 19, New Hampshire, finished her Gold medal performance with a perfect ride. The Youth A and Junior pentathletes pushed through a tough contest of swimming, fencing, running, shooting and equestrian riding. The qualifying competition was hosted by Coach Michael Cintas and Equestrian Centers International, ECI. The event was an opportunity for Youth A and Junior pentathletes to earn points to qualify for the 2010 Youth A and Junior World Championships to be held this summer in Stockholm Sweden and Budapest Hungary respectively.
